Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF)

Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) : is generally one of the oldest Aviation in Uganda that has been operating since 1986. Additionally, the Aviation works in partnership with national church groups, mission groups, development and relief agencies and other non-Governmental organizations (NGOs).

Above all, it is an international Christian organization whose mission is to fly light aircraft and to use other technology to bring help and hope to people in some of the world’s poorest communities.

Why fly with MAF?

They currently have six aircraft and 67 dedicated personnel serving over 200 organizations with travel, logistical and technical needs. The Kajjansi based Aviation (MAF) provides reliable and efficient services according to the highest safety standards and procedures based on many decades of bush flying experience. MAF has aircrafts like Cessna 206 (4 passengers), Cessna 208 (10 passengers) and Caravan (10 passengers).

MAF Charter flights

Particularly, MAF offers charter flights to churches, mission organizations and NGOs to any of the serviceable airfields in Uganda, as well as South Sudan. If you require an all day charter, or even a one-night stop on a return charter, MAF may be able to accommodate this. In special circumstances, MAF might be able to assist you with even longer trips however, this depends on several variables. The cost for a charter flight is calculated on a per kilometer rate flown, plus landing and navigation fees and departure tax for each passenger.

Uganda has different Airfields in the different parts of the country and some of them include; Tororo Airfield, Soroti Airfield, Kasese Airfield, Kisoro Airfield, Kidepo Airfield, Gulu Airfield, Moroto Airfield, Lira Airfield, Arua Airfield, Masindi Airfield, Jinja Airfield, Pakuba Airfield, Mbarara Airfield and many others.
