Lake Victoria Hotel

Lake Victoria Hotel : became operational in 1948 during the colonial time under Governor Cohen. He lived in the current State House and named the hotel, Lake Victoria Hotel. The lake was also named after the Queen of England, Queen Victoria. Surprisingly, on her visit to Uganda in 1958, the Queen of England resided in this Hotel. A tropical oasis is close to the Entebbe International Airport only 4 km. In addition, this Hotel has kept the spirit of the former British colonial mansions.
