Qatar Airways

This Airways is the state owned flag carrier of Qatar and its headquarters is in the Qatar Airways Tower in Doha. It basically holds flights to over 150 international destinations across Africa, Europe, Asia, America, and Oceania. Its base is at Hamad International Airport using fleets of more than 200 Aircrafts for both cargo and passengers. This Airway was established in 1993 however operations started in 1994. Additionally it is certified as a 5 star Airline for the quality of its Airport, onboard products and staff services. The Kenya Airways

The Kenya Airways is a flag carrier airline for Kenya which was founded in 1977 and its head office is located in Embakasi Nairobi with its hub at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Basically, the airline was owned by the Kenyan government until April 1995 and later it was privatized in 1996 becoming the first successful Airline in Africa to do so.
However, currently it is undergoing a private-public partnership with the largest shareholder that is the Government of Kenya. Additionally, it’s a member in both the Sky Team and African Airlines Association. Above all, the Airways has 36 Aircrafts, 95 daily flights and over 56 of which 46 are in Africa. Some of the destinations include Angola, Benin, Botswana, Burkina Faso, China, Chad, Cameroon, Denmark, Comoros, France, Ethiopia, Egypt, Germany, Gabon and many others. Besides, the Airways is called ‘KQ’ and not ‘KA’ because by the time, Korea already had its aviation industry running (Korean Air) and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) had already assigned them the code ‘KA’ and on so being Kenya was assigned the code KQ and not KA.
Services
Frequent flyer programmes
In general, Former Kenya Airways’ frequent flyer programme Msafiri was merged with KLM’s Flying Dutchman in 1997, which was in turn merged with that of Air France. However it was rebranded as Flying Blue in 2005, following the fusion of both companies. Nevertheless, Gold Elite and Platinum Elite members of the Flying Blue programme are offered the JV Lounge. Particularly, this service is provided to Kenya Airways passengers, and to passengers flying with its partner airlines as well. On the other hand, Simba Lounge is a service provided to Kenya Airways Business passengers only. Both lounges are located at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
In-flight entertainment
Different in-flight entertainment is available depending upon the aircraft and the class travelled. The airline’s in-flight magazine is called Msafiri, and is distributed among the passengers in all aircraft, irrespective of the class.

Aerolink Uganda

Aerolink Uganda : is an Airline that is privately owned and licensed by the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority with an Air Operator’s Certificate. It was established in 2012 however, its owners are based in Kenya. In addition, flights are available three days a week and they specialized in transporting tourists to Uganda’s National Parks. With scheduled flights available to Murchison Falls National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Semuliki National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Lake Mburo National Park and Jinja city. It also operates scheduled services to destinations allover East Africa including Kisumu International Airport and Mara Serena Airport. However, its flights either start from Entebbe International Airport or Kajjansi Airfield configured to carry up to 11 passengers. In summary, for spectacular views during your travel, this airline is one of the best options to transport you.
The Uganda Airlines

The Uganda Airline : is the flag barrier of Uganda which once operated from 1997 to 2001. The current carrier began flying in August 2019 whose headquarters are located within Entebbe International Airport that is in Wakiso District.
Destinations
As a matter of fact, Uganda Airline flies to different cities. These include; Bujumbura in Burundi, Kinshasa in DRC, Mombasa and Nairobi in Kenya, Mogadishu in Somalia. Johannesburg in South Africa, Juba in South Sudan, Dar es Salaam and Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Dubai in United Arab Emirates, etc. It as well flies to intercontinental destinations. These include; Dubai International Airport, Mumbai International Airport, Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, Heathrow International Airport. In additionally, it also connects to airports in the Southern and Western Africa.
Travel schedule
It was reported that on the 2nd of March 2021 Uganda airlines would commerce five times a week between Entebbe and London Heathrow on 28th of March 2021 using the A330-800 equipment. In January 2022, the senior management of Uganda Airlines indicated that their focus is on the establishment of domestic services in collaboration with the existing domestic operators. This was with an aim of increasing on the number of destinations in DR Congo and Europe and establishing services to Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, China and India.
Fleet
In February 2019, the first out of the four CRJ900 aircrafts that the Uganda Airlines had ordered, took the first test flight with the livery of the new Airline. On 5 October 2019, the third and fourth CRJ900s, 5X-KDP and 5X-KNP left Montreal. Then to Canada and landed Uganda on 7 October 2019. Transportation of the first aircraft took place on 21st December 2020. On the same date, Airbus handed over the first of two A330-841s that the airline purchased in 2018. Handed over to a commission of Ugandan government officials. This was led by General Katumba Wamala, the Ugandan minister of works and transport. A team of Ugandan pilots flew the aircraft, with a registration number 5X-NIL from Toulouse to France. Finally to Entebbe Uganda on the date 22 December 2020 bearing a flight number UR404.
