Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) : is one of the oldest Aviation in Uganda that has been flying since 1986. In fact, today it operates over 130 aircraft in more than 30 countries. Besides, it is a Christian organization that flies light aircraft to inaccessible areas in developing countries. In addition, it reaches out to people in need. The Kajjansi based Aviation (MAF) currently operates five aircrafts in Uganda. It provides reliable and efficient services according to the highest safety standards and procedures. As a matter of fact, this is based on many decades of bush flying experience. MAF has aircrafts like Cessna 206 (4 passengers), Cessna 208 (10 passengers) and Caravan (10 passengers).

Uganda has different Airfields in the different parts of the country. These include; Tororo Airfield, Soroti Airfield, Kasese Airfield, Kisoro Airfield, Kidepo Airfield, Gulu Airfield. Moroto Airfield, Lira Airfield, Arua Airfield, Masindi Airfield, Jinja Airfield, Pakuba Airfield, Mbarara Airfield, etc.

Bar Aviation : is situated in Kajjansi along Entebbe road with charter flights to all countries in Africa for both Economic and Domestic flights. In addition, they have morning, afternoon and night flights. However they don’t have scheduled flights to the western part of Uganda. The Aviation has different aircrafts that include; PC12 (7 seater) this can do night flights, Caravans (12 seater including 2 pilots, Jets 1900 (19 seater) to mention but a few.

More so, this Aviation Company has direct flights to Arua and they are done 3 days in a week. It operates on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and costs $160 for one way ticket and $320 for a return ticket. Departure time from Bar Aviation in Kajjansi is 7:30am and from Arua it’s 9:30am. Nevertheless, one way flight ticket to Semuliki National Park is $250 and return ticket at $430. In summary, this is one of the best option  for your trip around Uganda and Africa.

Kampala Executive Aviation (KEA) : is based in Kajjansi along Entebbe road and it’s one of the aviation companies we have in Uganda. This Aviation Company has two types of flights; the morning and afternoon flights and any flight beyond the working hours will cost you more money. However, they like conducting morning flights more because they are more favorable while afternoon flights are kind of bumpy. Some of the air crafts at Kampala Executive Aviation include Cessna 210, Cessna 172, Cessna 206 and Caravan 208 and others. Cessna air crafts are 4 seater while the caravan is a 14 seater and the most expensive. Are you planning for a tour to the different National parks in Uganda or around the country and you don’t want to waste time on the road? KEA is one of the best options since it offers both economic and domestic flights.
