Kibale Forest National Park is particularly rich in primates with at least 60 mammal species and with 13 species recorded including the chimpanzee. Queen Elizabeth National Park is generally a home to various mammals like the tree climbing lions, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes etc. In addition, the park holds different activities like bird watching, boat cruise as well as Chimpanzee. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is also among the oldest forests and famous for the mountain gorilla trekking. The park also offers bird watching with an estimation of over 350 bird species, 14 not recorded anywhere else in Uganda. Lake Bunyonyi also known as a place of many little birds with its nature wonders of 29 Islands each with its interesting historical background.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Depart Kampala-Equator Experience-Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You will be welcomed by one of our representatives and later start off your journey to Bwindi. This Park is famous for hosting half of the world’s mountain gorillas. As a matter of fact, it is one of the 3 parks in the world where mountain gorilla trekking is done. You will have your first stop over at the Uganda Equator for the equator moments. In fact, this place is where an imaginary line crosses the earth into two equal parts. While here, you will get a chance to carry out different equatorial experiments. Afterwards, continue with your journey, enroute Mbarara town for lunch before heading to Bwindi Impenetrable national park where you will check in your accommodation.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking -Batwa Cultural Experience
After having your early morning breakfast, you will be driven to the park headquarters. Here, you will be briefed by the park rangers about do’s and don’ts while trekking in the park. Later, start off your gorilla trekking guided by the park rangers. This is amazing experience watching the Mountain gorillas feed, play around as well as do their day-to-day activities. However, the time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates. Upon locating a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence as you take photographs and observe their unique behaviors. Afterwards, return to the lodge for lunch and a power nap.
In the evening you will go for the Batwa cultural experience which will expose you to their culture. This is based on how they live, dance, as well as listening to stories concerning their culture. Thereafter, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Have your breakfast and later depart for Lake Bunyonyi also known as the second deepest Lake in Africa. Here, you are in the base that was named by British’s great diplomat Winston Churchill as the Switzerland of Africa. Besides, the word Bunyonyi means “small birds” in direct translation which means that the lake is a must stopover for birders. On the other hand, its serpentine shape and numerous islands are other highlights one must look out for. Later in the afternoon, you can opt to go for a canoe ride on the lake (optional). While here, you will be able to visit most of the Islands on the Lake whereby each island has got its own interesting history.

Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park-Evening boat cruise
You will have your breakfast, check out of the lodge and proceed with your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Particularly, this park is famous for its tree climbing lions located in Ishasha sector. After checking in your lodge, you will enjoy your lunch before proceeding with a boat cruise at Kazinga channel. Here, the boat will provide a perfect platform for viewing most of the aquatic wildlife like the hippos and crocodiles. Afterwards, head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Morning game drive-Transfer to Kibale National Park
Enjoy your morning breakfast and later head for a morning game drive. This is basically done in the savannah plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park around Kasenyi plains. Here, you will enjoy seeing different wildlife species grazing around the park such as elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks and cats like lions, leopards, etc. Afterwards, check out of the lodge and start off your journey to Kibale National Park.

Day 6: Chimpanzee trekking
Having your early morning breakfast, you will be driven to the park headquarters. Here, you will be briefed about the dos and don’ts while doing chimpanzee trekking. Later, start your search for the chimpanzees within the park and this can take you half a day depending on their movements. While here, you will observe them as they feed, play as well as socializing with each other. As a matter of fact, these primates are the closest relatives to human being since they share 98% of their DNA.

Day 7: Travel back to Kampala
Served an early breakfast, check-out of the lodge and embark on your journey back to Kampala. Lunch shall be on your way and later continue with your journey, arriving late evening. You will be dropped at your hotel or at the Airport to catch up with your flight back home.
